I thank you Jesus for the way You love and serve.

Lord, thank You for the people here at FBC who have served me.  Thank you for ____________________.

Father, I confess my pride and selfishness to you. I ask You to give me a servant’s heart to love others. Please make me sensitive to others, to love Your ways, and to live my life doing good for others. Help me to see other’s needs as more important than my own.

I pray for  _________________ to put away selfishness and to live Your way, loving and doing good for others.

Celibacy is a spiritual gift but not a superior gift.

1 Cor. 7:1-7

1. Celibacy is not proof of maturity.
2. Celibacy is not protection for morality.
3. Celibacy is not proper in marriage.

Exod. 19:9-15

4. Celibacy is a provision of the Master.

Matt. 19:10-12
