KALA:  Have you ever been given a promise that gave you hope?

 

Prayer: 1 Pet. 5:6-7

  • Where do you feel the most hopeless?
  • Seek the Lord and ask Him what are you really facing.
  • Tell the Lord how you truly feel.
  • Tell the Lord what you are wanting Him to do.
  • Ask Him what He’s doing in your heart.

 

MESSAGE:

Dan. 2:31-49

 

1. Huge statue: The kingdoms on man will be removed.

 

A. The identity of the human kingdoms discourages hope.
a. Head of gold
b. Chest and arms of silver
c. Belly and thighs
d. Legs and feet

 

B. The inferiority of the human kingdoms discourages hope.
a. They have a delicate foundation.
b. They have a deteriorating form.
c. They have a disintegrating family.
d. They have a developing force.

 

2. Heavenly Stone: The Kingdom of God will remain.

 

A. The identity of the heavenly King delivers hope.
a. He is the smitten stone.

b. He is the stumbling stone.
